After several years searching for a coloured stallion to cover top class sec B mares (my main criterion being if it wasn't coloured would it be good enough!). I finally found this lovely boy standing at Lostock Stud. He is not only well bred on both sides of his pedigree but has a fantastic temperament and had sired the CHAPS futurity foal champion "Lostock Riff Raff" from his first crop of foals. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it turned out), after deciding he was “the one” for my mares I then found out he was for sale. After such an extensive search for a suitable stallion I did not want this one to get away and was lucky enough to bring him to North Yorkshire to start a new chapter for the Milford Stud.

In 2008 we were delighted to see the arrival of his first foals for us who are proving to be exceptional in every way. He has covered a number of our mares this year and we eagerly await his next crop of foals. "Taz" has also been introduced to the show ring in 2008 and has behaved impeccably.

Having stood at the Milford Stud for three seasons, we are now offering Taz for sale or lease having retained a homebred colt by him as his replacement. Taz has had some lovely foals for us (and we have three mares due to him for next year) but has not yet tapped his potential as a HOYS ridden pony because of a lack of a jockey. He would be ideal to bring on over winter in prepration for a ridden show season next year.
